Hyson Products a division of Barnes Group Inc. is the largest producer of Nitrogen Gas Springs in the world. They offer a wide range of sizes and pressures. Cam systems are used piercing, trimming, flanging, and restriking applications. Mechanical as well as nitrogen charged systems available. Manifold Systems provide one central point for pressurizing and depressurizing, and requires no external hoses or fittings.

Hyson Tanker® series springs offer many advantages over conventional springs. Dynamic lubrication extends spring life. Bore seals prevent contamination and rod damage. Self-aligning piston rod accepts normal die movement and a degree of sideload without causing wear or damage to the rod.

Cam systems are available in mechanical style, controllable nitrogen systems that allow you to store the press downward stroke energy for use later in the cycle, even as the ram is traveling up as well as charged systems that offer the pressure of hydraulics without the need for pumps or plumbing. One cylinder can charge up to 3 cams.

Manifold Systems offer improved part quality, and ease of maintenance. Nitrogen ram cushions offer a variety of advantages over hydraulic or air systems and lower tooling cost.
