NUT & THREAD SENSORS

Norgren Automation Solutions offers a full line of nut and thread sensors. These devices are tunable and can also be used for thread/no thread detection in nuts and studs.These highly accurate sensors can be used to detect nuts in your parts. They can be tuned such that they can also offer thread / no thread detection. Two styles are available. The standard (SNP50608 can monitor M5, M6 and M8 nuts) and the (SNP01012 can monitor M10 and M12 nuts) as well as hardened sensors that are a more robust version. These sensors are specific to nut size and are available for M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12 nuts. The systems require 10-30Vdc input power and are available with NPN or PNP outputs.

Kamco offers whisker probes for die protection. These simple entry level units are available in two versions. Available in standalone probe, probe mounted on a magnetic base of die mount versions.The standard version with a round Nylon body that can be attached to a portable magnetic base , as well as a rectangular Nylon body for direct mount to the die.

Balluff optical windows are available in several sizes for your application. These are good products for use in high speed part ejection applications.

NAS STUD SENSORS

These systems are designed to detect studs and can be accurately tuned to detect the presence of threads / no threads as well. Two sensors are available (NS S0506 for M5 and M6 studs) as well as (NS S0810 for M8 and M10 Studs. These systems require 10-30Vdc input power and are available with NPN or PNP outputs.
