These offering include dedicated rail receivers with air, electric and mechanical coding.
The built in air connections are for gripper activation. The built in electric connections are for sensor interface and the mechanical coding prevent incorrect finger placement. All of this allows for one rail to be used with all tooling as well as quick, efficient changeovers.
The PGS series grippers are available with regular jaw, flange jaw, chisel jaw or shovel jaw configurations. Each gripper can be configured for amount of gripper opening, gripper pad size and style, and air location and size. Sensing options include in pad sensing as well as indirect sensing. Indirect sensors offer part present or double blank options.
